What Is a Ball Stretcher?
A ball stretcher is a soft ring or band worn around the top of the scrotum, above the testicles. It gently holds the testicles lower, creating a pulling sensation and a fuller look. Taller or heavier models, sometimes called a ball weight stretcher, add more pull.
OXBALLS stretchers are made from soft silicone or PLUSSILICONE™, which stretches to go on and then holds comfortably.
Do Ball Stretchers Work?
It depends on what you want from one:
- Sensation and look: yes, straight away. Most people wear a stretcher for the feeling of pull and weight and the lower-hanging look.
- Longer-term testicle stretching: some wearers say regular, gradual wear makes their skin hang lower over time. Results vary from person to person, there’s little scientific research on it, and any change may reduce if you stop.
Is ball stretching permanent?
No one can promise a permanent result. Take it slowly. Rushing with heavier weights or longer wear raises your risk of injury without any guaranteed benefit.
Is Ball Stretching Safe?
Used correctly, a correctly sized soft silicone stretcher is generally low-risk for healthy adults. The main risks come from wearing one too tight, too heavy or for too long, which can restrict blood flow, press on nerves, bruise the skin or cause irritation.
Safety first: take it off straight away if you feel pain, numbness or coldness, or notice discolouration. Never sleep in a stretcher. If one gets stuck and you can’t remove it, go to A&E or call 999. If you have a circulation or testicular condition, or take blood thinners, speak to your GP or call NHS 111 before use.
How to Choose a Ball Stretcher
- Height: taller means more stretch. Beginners usually start at around 2.5 cm.
- Weight: heavier stretchers pull down more. Start light.
- Internal diameter: it should feel snug but never pinch or cause numbness.
- Material: platinum silicone is soft and body-safe, and PLUSSILICONE™ adds extra stretch.
Every OXBALLS UK ball stretcher lists its height, weight and internal diameter in cm and mm.
How to Put On a Ball Stretcher
- Put it on while soft, ideally after a warm shower.
- Lube the inside of the stretcher and your skin with water-based lube.
- Stretch the opening and guide one testicle through, then the other.
- Roll it up so it sits at the top of the scrotum, above the testicles.
- Wear it for 15–30 minutes at first, and build up slowly over several sessions.
Won’t go on? Use more lube, go one testicle at a time and try again when relaxed. If it still won’t fit, choose a model with a larger internal diameter. Never force it.

Do ball stretchers work?
They give an immediate sensation of pull and a lower-hanging look. Any longer-term stretching is gradual, varies between people and isn’t guaranteed.
Is ball stretching safe?
For most healthy adults, a correctly sized silicone stretcher worn for short, gradually increasing periods is low-risk. Remove it at once if you feel pain, numbness or coldness, and never sleep in one.
Is ball stretching permanent?
Results aren’t guaranteed to be permanent and may reduce if you stop wearing a stretcher.
Which OXBALLS ball stretcher is best for beginners?
The Squeeze. It’s light, soft and easy to put on. Move up to the Tri-Squeeze or Mega Squeeze once it feels easy.
